Dear Morley Parents & Guardians,

With our phased return to in-person learning in the Boise School District, we want to let our students and families know about changes to our health procedures at school this year. These changes are meant to keep our schools open and our school communities as healthy and safe as possible.

Each school within the Boise School District will have two health offices this year. One health office/area will be designated for non-infectious health concerns such as: medication administration, scrapes, bumps, or orthopedic injuries such as sprained ankles. The other health office/area will be used to screen students who show signs of an infectious illness at school such as: a fever, headache, cough, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, congestion, runny nose, or fatigue.

If your student has a symptom of illness at school that has not been previously diagnosed, or discussed with the school, you will be called to pick-up your student from school to monitor him/her at home. The student will be kept in the sick health office until he/she is picked-up. Please make plans ahead of time to be able to pick-up your student within 30 minutes of being called for symptoms of sickness.

The following documents can help you decide if it is safe to send your student to school based on symptoms, or possible exposure to COVID-19:

If you have any questions related to this, please feel free to contact your School Nurse, Darcie Altree at (208) 854-4617.

Thank you for your understanding during this challenging time and thank you for supporting our efforts to continue to keep our students and staff safe and well.
